A. COAL ANALYST (Code : CA)

The successful applicant will ideally have:

• Degree qualified in Economics or Commerce or related discipline;
• 3-5 years experience working in the Indonesian coal industry, preferably with some analytical exposure;
• Proven knowledge of Indonesian coal production, coal quality, coal exports, domestic coal demand and coal export infrastructure;
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills;
• A proven meticulous attention to detail;
• Ability to work effectively in both a team and autonomously;
• Strong communication skills;
• Strong written and oral capability in English;
• Indonesian nationals are encouraged to apply;
• The position will be based in Jakarta.

This role will include:

• Analysis and forecasting of Indonesian coal market trends and developments;
• Project management of client-specific studies;
• Delivery and presentation of market studies to a global client base;
• Acquiring, compiling and evaluating data to enhance the existing knowledge base;
• New product and market development;
• Assisting senior marketers with the development of commercial plans, delivery targets, budgets, scopes of work and project programs.

B. SENIOR GEOLOGIST (Code : SGeo)

The successful applicant will ideally have:

• Minimum 6 years metal based exploration experience;
• Experience working with exploration management;
• Have capibility in geological database;
• Strong written and oral capability in English;
• Advance to operate Minescape, Surpac or Minex skills;
• Strong communication and managerial skills;
• The position will be based in Jakarta;
• Preferable competence person on JORC.

The role will include performing and being mentored on:

• Manage of exploration programs;
• Resource and reserve estimation;
• Structural and geophysical interpretation;
• Acquiring, compiling and evaluating data to enhance the exploration program;
• Research and data analysis;
• The development of computer models, roll-out plans, budgets, scopes of work and drilling programs;
• Liaising with various drilling companies and other suppliers regarding time frames, costings, contract terms.
